Hillhouse Capital, which was once the 3rd largest shareholder of NIO (NYSE: NIO), was no longer a shareholder to the Chinese EV maker anymore by the end of 2019, revealed a filing to the SEC.

Property Giant Evergrande Group sells properties online
Details
Chinese property giant Evergrande Group released a press conference on online property sales on Sunday.
A total of 47,500 houses have been sold online since the company rolled out online sales strategies three days ago, according to its vice-president Liu Xuefei.
Its online market also sees over 3 million new users, pushing the total users to 10 million.
It will not rule out the possibility that the platform will sell properties of other companies, and larges goods like automobiles, added Liu. (STCN)

HKEx hints inclusion of Alibaba in stock connect program
Details
It is just a matter of time to include secondary listing new economy companies in the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect program, said Charles Li, CEO of the HKEx. Previously Bloomberg reported that Alibaba Group, re-listed in Hong Kong last Nov., won’t be included in the program list set to be updated on Febraury 17.

NIO secures another $100 mln via convertible notes
Details
NIO said Friday it has secured another 100 million U.S. dollars via private placement of convertible notes to two unaffiliated Asia-based investment funds. The closings of both placements are expected to occur on or before Februayr 19. After the deal NIO will have raised 200 million U.S. dollars via convertible notes since the beginning of 2020.
